The Liberty congregation continues to improve its Facilities for the convenience of it’s people and for the Glory of God.

A covered sidewalk and ramp was built to connect the Davidson Building to the Church in October, 1990.

The 1970 “Steeple” was replaced by a new one in 1991. This beacon makes the Church visible from all directions.

The year 1992 was a victorious year with continuing growth and improvements to Church property, Pastorium, and diverse ministries.

One and one-half acres of land was purchase in February, ’92, to straighten the property line beside the Pastorium.

The building of the Pastorium was begun in July, 1955, under the leadership of Pastor Dean Simpson. (1953 – ’58). Brother Dean left Liberty to begin Seminary studies before the house was finished, without getting to live in it. His work has proven a blessing to the families who succeeded him. This “House which love built,” became a reality with the talents and gifts of many Church members, offered to this important project.

To beautify the Church grounds, six Bradford Pear Trees, were bought in March, ’92.
Pastor Steve Aaron, (1990 – 1994), set them out himself.

Work continued at the Pastorium in May, ’92 with the completion of a “spacious” Carport.

“Serving the Lord for 140 years”, was the theme for the special celebration on May, 24, ’92. Members came dressed in 1852 attire, in grand style and excitement. A commemorative Plate was issued and sold to mark the occasion. Many member, families, and friends were served a bountiful meal by women of the church.

The Church assisted former Pastor David Taylor, (1982-85) with expenses to go on a Mission trip in August, 92. A gift of $1,000. Was given to assist him to go on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Crusade to Russia.

A Mission effort of September, 1992 resulted in giving a gift of $600 to Lane Springs Baptist Church to buy doors and floor covering. Several members went from Liberty to help carry out this worthy project.
