Serving the Church

Serving in your Church is a Wonderful way to serve the Lord, His house is in constant need of volunteers for many sort of activities.

Romans 8:28 - "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."

Maintenance

Maintenance can entail various necessary services to keep the day to day function of a Church.  
Building maintenance and repair, Cleaning, restocking of supplies etc.

Acts 20:28: "Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood."
1 Peter 5:2: "Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly."
Galatians 6:9-10: "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith."

Children's  Activities

Children are the most important treasure of a Church Family.

Psalm 127:3: "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward."
Proverbs 22:6: "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."
Matthew 19:14: "But Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.'"


Dinners and events

Volunteering to help with meal and event preparation is a great way to serve the Lord!
Acts 2:46-47: "Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."
Romans 12:13: "Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality."
Luke 14:12-14: "Then Jesus said to his host, 'When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.'
Isaiah 58:7: "Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?"


We take the time for Our Gods gifts to the Community from Birth's and Baptism's to celebration's of Life. All these opportunities require volunteers to help organize, execute and Clean up after.
Ecclesiastes 3:4 - A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
1 Corinthians 14:40 - "But all things should be done decently and in order."
Proverbs 16:3 - "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established."

teaching

Our church is always looking for Volunteers to teach our youth and adults
Proverbs 22:6 (ESV): Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
A disciple is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully qualified will be like the teacher.
Proverbs 9:9 (ESV): Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.
Proverbs 27:17 (ESV): Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.
